Meaghan Williams

This young woman first caught my attention while singing one of my favorite worship songs! The classic “Above All,” written by the prolific psalmists Lenny LeBlanc and Paul Baloche, has been covered by many a Gospel artist, including Michael W. Smith and the anointed Pastors Donnie McClurkin and Marvin Sapp.

She gives the song its full justice in her wonderful arrangement. I love her vocal tone,  versatility and authority in ministry!

Growing up in a musical family, Meaghan had a heart after music even as a young child. Meaghan’s foundational teaching both spiritually and musically stem from The New Jerusalem Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. where she was an active member of the NJC choir.

Though Meaghan had what some people would consider in the music industry, a late start, she has since had the opportunity to travel all over the world and has accompanied such artist as Levi “Too” King, Oscar Williams, John Legend, Elisa Tour(Italy, Paris) Darryl Coley, Karen Clark Sheard, Kiki Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Timothy Wright, Doobie Powell, Lashaun Pace, Jonathan Nelson, Angela Spivey, Shea Norman, Kirk Franklin, JMoss, Pastor Donnie McClurkin and a host of others both local and international.

With influences such as her Mother, Levi “Too” King, Tramaine Hawkins, Cecilia Beasley, Lady Eneazer Moore, Mary Rich, The Late Great Reuben Williams II, her church family (Power Of Change Christian Center), The Late Nathan Simmons, her family and her friends, she is inspired to make music to encourage the soul.
